To chime with their first capsule collection, Converse and Isabel Marant bring together a trio of creative icons, each
connected by an integrity to themselves and their individual practices. Threaded together in a series of short films, an
open conversation ensues. In one clip, Marant explains the philosophy behind the collaboration. True to her raw but
refined aesthetic, the capsule offers a laissez-faire sensibility, while the Chuck silhouette proves its affinity for stylistic
interpretation.

Finding a match in the design cues that make Converse the footwear of choice for style originals, Marant brings a free-spirited Parisian touch to the all-new Chuck 70 Wedge – so named for its integrated heel – as well as the Chuck
70 hi top and Chuck 70 low top. A frayed upper, Marant maison emblem and ice undersole accompany the designs worn
throughout the interviews.
“My purpose was to have a real, honest and simple mix-up with our two companies –
something that gives joy to the people who wear it, who want to be themselves,” says Marant.
